STRAW INCORPORATOR WITHOUT FERTILIZER

Implement developed to do the incorporation to the soil of the straw that stays in the area after the harvest of green cane. The implement does the incorporation to the soil of the straw in two spaces between rows simultaneously, the operation for removal of the straw from the rows may or may not be done before the incorporation.

The practice of incorporation to the soil of the straw that results from the harvest provides several benefits, such as the improvement in the levels of organic matter in the soil, elimination of the ideal conditions for the development of plagues as leafhoppers, sphenophorus and stable flies and diseases as coletotrichum. The incorporation of the straw also provides the decrease in susceptibility to frosts and the risk of fires.

Coupled to the three-point hitch, the implement has 2 cutting disks that cut the layer of straw present in the space between rows of the sugarcane ratoons. Next, semi-parabolic shanks with winged points work in the soil at a depth of 25 to 30 cm, and right behind, two sets of rotary hoes activated by cardan shaft coupled to the tractor PTO at 1.000 RPM, incorporate the straw to the soil in the spaces between lines of the sugarcane ratoon.

Characteristics:

- 2 cutting disks of 26” that cut the layer of straw in the space between rows of the sugarcane ratoons

- 4 scalloped disks of 20” that direct the straw to the rotary hoes

- 2 semi-parabolic shanks with winged points

- 2 sets of rotary hoes activated by cardan shaft coupled to the tractor PTO at 1.000 RPM, which do the incorporation of the straw to the soil

- 2 wheels with tires that adjust the depth of work of the implement
